CNN Attempts to Fix Its Own Poll Against Ron Paul

Desperation. It stinks of desperation. During the Republican debate, CNN once again attempted to derail the Ron Paul campaign. This time they ran the following lower third under Paul as he spoke:

“Will Ron Paul let America down by not running as an independent?”

Say what?

Obviously, CNN wants Paul to run as an independent because he is blowing the other candidates off the stage and basically over-turning the political establishment apple cart. People are sick and tired of the “conservatives,” who are really establishment bootlickers and neocons, and want a sincere candidate, one that represents change and traditional constitutional values.

This scares the dickens out of the corporate media — and that is why they have dedicated so little coverage to Ron Paul.

But it not going to work, as CNN’s own poll demonstrates (see the video).

The better question is that since Ron Paul is the only top tier candidate on stage that’s a Republican, will Rudy and Mitt run as independants?

CNN is a joke! I’m done with mainstream media. WE THE PEOPLE need to start working on getting this country back! Ron Paul is our first step. The debates the other night made me sick that i ever watched one minute of anything that ever has been on CNN. I’M DONE!!! You see, the mainstream media, big corporation, big government and special interest groups has a strangle hold on the people of this great nation. Don’t get me wrong, i think our government is great if it were ran the way it is supposed to ran. We have to carefully study these candidates, because we cannot afford another mistake in leadership. I think one more mistake will make the hole to big to climb out of. Ron Paul is the only candidate to where you can tell he is telling the truth about where he wants to take this country. No matter what, don’t listen to any of the so called T.V. journalist that want to put him down, think about where there paychecks are coming from (BIG CORPORATION). They will say anything there puppetmaster tells them. Don’t be a sheep or we all will regret this opportunity we have at our feet right now. RON PAUL ALL THE WAY 2008!!!!

God raises up Kings and he brings them down!, I am one of those indivduals who belive that our Constitution was God inspired!, and I belive that he is not through yet with America being the light of Freedom to the World! Go Ron Paul 2008

I’m from Ireland, but I’m following the presidential race on a daily basis. Ron Paul stands out simply because he is an honest, sincere, and caring man. He makes the other candidates look cheap by comparison. John McCain’s cheap shot at Ron Paul during the last debate about bringing the troops home was so cheasy and trashy I wanted to vomit. Ron Paul’s response to it was excellent. I really hope he wins not just for America, but for the world due to the influence the states has on world affairs. Ron Paul is a legend!

Notice on the CNN poll, the question shown on the video at -0:11 is “Who was the snappiest dresser?” was NOT the 7th question reflected on the actual poll for *this* debate. Those lackeys over at CNN are too lazy to even change the pop-ups from the last CNN debate, lol! Go check it out for yourself on the CNN website- just something I noticed right away. And what difference does it make who dresses ’snappier’ anyway? (which was clearly a way to get people to pay attention to pretty boy Romney) That has no bearing whatsoever on an individual’s ability to comprehend the issues at hand like monetary policy, foreign policy, domestic policy, and most importantly the CONSTITUTION!

i think the american leaders judges and all should read caritas of birmingham our lady,s april 25, 2005 monthly message to the world because there is something in the air it is God and it is Ron Paul

  11. Randy Lampropoulos on November 30th, 2007

Maybe Ron Paul should sue CNN and others for slander, especially fox, then, in court to save their own asses, they would have to prove that he is a “conspiracy theorist” and take a look at the “theories” and then when the “theories come out to be true, with all the evidence, they will be exposed…lol. screw the mainstream, and the asshole treasonist establishment.

  12. Mark from Ohio on November 30th, 2007

If the Republican Nomination does not go to Ron Paul then I think it is clear to say that the GOP has been Hi-Jacked by the Dems. I’m not saying this to offend anyone belonging to the Dems party but the Dems have always had policy minded folks who raise taxes and lead to war.

If Ron Paul does win the Nomination from the GOP then it will be because of a flawed, screwed up plan that has went bad for the overseiers of election theft. As much as I would love to see Ron win and God knows I have $2,300.00 invested, they will not let him win.

This I know for sure, Major media better not make the cheating obvious or they could very well face 500,000 grumbling Americans.

  13. Amanda Donehoo on November 30th, 2007

Ron Paul is winning polls everywhere. They (the news media) wants to discredit him so as to deceive the people and hopefully fill up their polls with morons like Obama or Hillary. Lord help if we get another Clinton in office and worse yet a WOMAN!! My vote is on Ron Paul all the way!!!

  14. Andrew on November 30th, 2007

Randy, as cool as it would be for Ron to sue them, it would obviously backfire. Not only would it be a waste of campaign time and money, but the media would find some way to hang him for it.

Why taint the Paul phenomenon with something like that.

  15. True Patriot on November 30th, 2007

Yeah…the people’s polls show Ron Paul.

CNN polls have Rude EE vs. Billary set and ready to go.

The Neocons can just consider Ron Paul as potical blowback for years of us Americans having to put up with George Bush!

  18. G M Bennett on November 30th, 2007

Voters must have noticed how Guiliani, Romney, and Thompson were placed in the middle of the lineup for Photos and at the podiums where they all played out a 10 minute little skit. It was nearly identical to Fox’s, in which one would mention the other in his answer and then Chris Wallace would give the other a response because his name was called, then he would mention the third one, so he needed to be allowed to respond. So back and forth, while the other candidates weren’t even seen for the first ten minutes of the debate. It is outrageous that such blatant tactics work so well on the voters. Where are their minds when they can’t see this?

  19. realitycheck101 on November 30th, 2007

Hey do you all smell a HUCKSTER being “Propped Up” as the new STAGE DUMBY because they have shown their hands with Marilyn Monroe wanna be, Julieani, and Shillary..

The Media is now trying to PRETEND that they are not bias and because the HUCKSTER is “one of THEM” he is now being put up as the come from behind guy when in fact he is behind Dr Paul.. The fact that they skip right over Dr. Paul to get to the HUCKSTER shows just how stupid they THINK we are.

These people are worse than Judas was because at least Judas hung himself after he did his dirty deeds.

As I sit and watch as this world fall farther into the dark and fascist void of evil,I see a light.A light of truth, freedom, which comes from love from this ones heart. This one light I see has a name.
    Ron Paul.
As I see this light spread into the hearts and minds of others I begin too see now a future, where hence before was only blackness and dispare, now there is light, there is hope. But fear still weighs heavy on this hopefull heart of mine, for I fear for Ron Paul, may he not bear the fate of those brave souls who dare to live to our creators standards.Pray that our light is not extinguished.Pray that this light becomes a wildfire to free the peoples of our once great soverighn nation.
    To become once more.

Did everyone see the Political ticker article at CNN about the debate, right after it happened? I can’t find it anymore, but in the blog article, all the candidates who were talked about had their full names listed. But Ron Paul’s name was only listed as “Paul” everytime they talked about him. Not once did his full name appear. I don’t know about everyone else, but I took that as yet another attempt by CNN to report on Dr. Ron Paul since they have to now, but still obscure his name from voters and restrict name recognition. Of course my rant on this is just raised in unison with a lot of other Dr. Ron Paul supporters, but how much more can your ‘hidden-agenda’ attitude in reporting get, CNN?

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d91a13Yr3oQ

“I would work with Dennis. I will talk to Dennis about it.” - Ron Paul

Left meets right. 911 is Bush/Cheney’s ring around the collar.

Misprision of Treason is when you know about treason and do nothing. It is a serious crime to not report and react against treason when you witness it and know the facts about it. Dishonesty which leads to the continued powerfully detrimental effect of treason is misprision of treason.

Regardless of the seriousness of this crime, punishment is capped at 7 years imprisonment, and a fine.

Fear not for your apathy will only get you 7 years and a fine.

CNN is half owned by the Saudi Government, and the rest is owned by the Church of Scientology.

How can you expect rational reporting on anything with investors such as these?

  29. Larry on December 1st, 2007

    Kurt,
I love Ron Paul and I TOTALLY support what you say, but to be fair, wasn’t the headline “Will Ron Paul let America down by not running as an Independent?” directly what the YouTuber’s question was? Wasnt CNN just repeating it? Where am I wrong? I totally agree that the GOP would LOVE to see him run as an Independent NOW so they can get him out of the debates. I fully believe Ron Paul will run as an Ind. if he does not get the nomination, but he cant say that right now or they will seek ways to remove him. It’s Ron Paul’s ONLY lie (that he will not run as an Ind)

  30. Dan Theman on December 1st, 2007

It makes no difference if CNN corrects it’s poll or not anymore - CNN, FOX, ABC, NBC, CBS - the whole MSM for that matter have made themselves irrelevant to a growing majority of Americans. So they can dispense whatever color kool-aid they want but it will go unconsumed.

  31. Richard on December 1st, 2007

To all you people who are touting God as helping save America. This type thinking “In God We Trust” is what got you duped in the first place. The bible’s main lesson is that if you oppose the powerful you will be killed. Not even the son of god can prevail. Bush claims to be working under gods direct orders. Disregard the lies of the church, and anyone who says he is working for him, They are only after you wealth. As example, The Vatican is the richest empire on earth because of it’s lies and deception. If it wanted to it could use it’s money to clothe and feed billions. Jesus taught the opposite of what they do with their fine raiments and obscene wealth. It’s a con to keep you from reacting as you feel you should. Men invented him to control the uneducated masses to bend to their will. Rise and feel the power of man…not god.

  32. Jason on December 1st, 2007

It is not suprising…on Glenn Becks website, Ron Paul is not even on the poll to vote for. You would think this would be illegal, but I guess not if you are a fed.

  33. Krokus on December 1st, 2007

Rick Cain, where did you get the info that CNN is half-owned by Saudis??? The American Meddia is owned and runn mostly by Jews and that’s a fact.

You can see the NEOCONS ARE RUNNING SCARED!! Remember, that they CAN’T RIGG AN OVER WHELMING ELECTION! We need to get registered as republicans so we can make sure Ron Paul gets that nomination!! I also agree about McCain’s CHEAP SHOT AT RON PAUL! Don’t worry though it made McCain look EXTREMILY UNFLATTERING AND DISTUGUSTING!! “WE THE PEOPLE” ARE DEFINATELY ON THE “UP” SWING—–YOU KNOW WE CAN DO THIS AND TAKE OUR COUNTRY BACK!!!!!!!

  35. Jay on December 2nd, 2007

I’ve haphazardly followed the debate from Finland, and compared to the other candidates Ron Paul seems most able (willing to tackle the real issues) and sincere. He is himself rather than a projected image or facade. I’ve learnt to like the guy - he reminds me of the better days (way back..) of the United States, when everything wasn’t impregnated with the ideals of military-industrial-complex. Ron Paul seems to be the least corrupted of the candidates.

  36. jon on December 2nd, 2007

Personally, I’d like to see Ron Paul & Dennis Kunicich team up for an Independent run. I don’t believe the RNC/DNC will let either of them take their party’s nomination in any senario. Before y’all die laughing, they agree on several major issues that could used as a sort of referendum for the American citizen to vote on the direction the country has taken since 9/11. End the Iraq & Afghanistan Wars, restore the bill of rights/repeal of the patriot act, end legalized torture & renditions, stop illegal wiretapping, etc. We all can argue about health care and social security later.
