Daily Kos and Huffington Post Connive to Slander Ron Paul as Racist

Now that the New York Times has published a retraction to its article in essence accusing Ron Paul of cavorting with Stormfront racists — a retraction likely to be ignored — we have the Democrats and lovers of all things governmental over at Daily Kos taking up the ball, determined to make Paul out to be a Grand Master of the Ku Klux Klan. For obvious reasons, the “progressives” over at the Huffington Post have decided to highlight a Kos post accusing Paul of racism, posted back in May of this year.

Paul’s “own words convict him,” declares Kos contributor phenry. The Daily Kos is a popular blog that attracts “progressives,” that is to say Democrat statists, and is run by Markos Moulitsas ZĂșniga, an admitted CIA operative and supposedly a former Reagan Republican. Disturbed that many “Kossacks” were attracted to Ron Paul after the Simi Valley debate held May 3, 2007, at the Reagan Presidential Library, phenry zoomed in on an article published in the Ron Paul Political Report back in 1992. “It is available to us today because it was posted to the talk.politics.misc newsgroup on July 30, 1993 by Dan Gannon, a notorious white supremacist and Holocaust denier, and archived by the Nizkor Project, an anti-revisionism organization that was active in cataloging hate speech on the early public Internet.” In order to frame Ron Paul as a closet racist, the Kossack phenry takes selective quotes from the Paul article discussing the Rodney King trial and the Los Angeles Riots.

Regardless of what the media tell us, most white Americans are not going to believe that they are at fault for what blacks have done to cities across America. The professional blacks may have cowed the elites, but good sense survives at the grass roots. Many more are going to have difficultly avoiding the belief that our country is being destroyed by a group of actual and potential terrorists — and they can be identified by the color of their skin. This conclusion may not be entirely fair, but it is, for many, entirely unavoidable.

Indeed, it is shocking to consider the uniformity of opinion among blacks in this country. Opinion polls consistently show that only about 5% of blacks have sensible political opinions, i.e. support the free market, individual liberty, and the end of welfare and affirmative action…. Given the inefficiencies of what D.C. laughingly calls the “criminal justice system,” I think we can safely assume that 95% of the black males in that city are semi-criminal or entirely criminal.

If similar in-depth studies were conducted in other major cities, who doubts that similar results would be produced? We are constantly told that it is evil to be afraid of black men, but it is hardly irrational. Black men commit murders, rapes, robberies, muggings, and burglaries all out of proportion to their numbers.

Perhaps the L.A. experience should not be surprising. The riots, burning, looting, and murders are only a continuation of 30 years of racial politics. The looting in L.A. was the welfare state without the voting booth. The elite have sent one message to black America for 30 years: you are entitled to something for nothing. That’s what blacks got on the streets of L.A. for three days in April. Only they didn’t ask their Congressmen to arrange the transfer.

Note the ellipse in the second paragraph. This is where our Kossack excised the following passage:

I know many who fall into this group personally and they deserve credit–not as representatives of a racial group, but as decent people. They are, however, outnumbered. Of black males in Washington, D.C, between the ages of 18 and 35, 42% are charged with a crime or are serving a sentence, reports the National Center on Institutions and Alternatives. The Center also reports that 70% of all black men in Washington are arrested before they reach the age of 35, and 85% are arrested at some point in their lives.

Determined to slander Paul as a racist, Markos, the Almighty Kos, featured this excised and thus highly disingenuous post on December 26. “Is it any wonder that neo-Nazis are flocking to his campaign? But Paul is against the war in Iraq and he wants FREEDOM! So that must make his racism okay,” declares the “former” CIA employee.

In fact, “neo-Nazis” are not “flocking” to Ron Paul’s campaign, and the New York Times was forced to publish a retraction essentially stating as much. But then, of course, it is safe to say that anybody who is not a Democrat, “progressive” or otherwise, is a racist, according to the Kos, especially those who dare cite politically incorrect statistics on crime in Los Angeles and make conclusions based on them.

Democrats — and the CIA, in the personage of disinfo operative Markos Moulitsas ZĂșniga — are sincerely and utterly horrified by the campaign of Ron Paul, as Paul promises to dismantle the warfare-welfare state and return America to its rightful constitutional heritage. Democrats, who will naturally vote in droves for the Bilderberg Queen Hillary, are desperate to retain the current statist arrangement, albeit minus Bush and the neocons. In order to do this, they will spin outrageous lies and excise crucial passages from Ron Paul’s writings.

I’m not a racist, but I, too suspect that the Holocaust was in large part a fraud.

If you now have the ability to see the truth about lies that you’ve believed your entire life (without question, perhaps), look for some of David Cole’s Holocaust research. He’s a young, well-educated Jew (and a serious/orthodox one at that) and he concludes, through commendable research efforts, that a) the Holocaust museum at Auschwitz has been reconstructed and modified post-Holocaust to support the official story (which makes the affair seem as horrific and grizzly as possible, since that’s what sells to tourists), and b) the Russians contrived the death tolls and concocted auxiliary facts to serve their own interest. The death figures have since been revised and therefore corrected (as though it were some kind of “mistake”), but the point stands.

If you think that governments (especially those who “win” wars) wouldn’t lie for political purposes, you wouldn’t be reading this website. It’s curious that people point fingers and allege that other people are racist or revisionist (and “revisionist” comes standard with the obligatory negative connotation), yet those same people can’t be bothered to investigate the so-called-revisionist claims regarding the Holocaust.

I mean, for ANY of you to doubt the mainstream media at every opportunity, yet at the same time believe the whole Holocaust hoax, hook-line-and-sinker, is pathetic.

    Check out David Cole.

Excellent comment, Sam R., and a credit to what’s left of the U.S. First Amendment. It would be a crazy-brave comment in western Europe, where quite a number of political prisoners are doing bad time for saying even less than that on the same subject. Most notably British historian David Irving wound up in the Austrian slammer for researching the concentration camps and finding copious facts that conflicted with official doctrine. Despite rigorous censorship, though, Cole has plenty of company.

I am an African American, and support Mr.Paul’s policies. If he is racist, or has racist supporters, thats their problem, not mine! My problem is that for the last 30 years (and more) Democrats have been in control of most areas where African Americans live and there has been no real change, just the status quo. Mr. Paul’s message should resonate with more African Americans, because we are sensitive to the issue of FREEDOM.

I’d like to point out some things to the idiot Kossacks :

    1. Your blatant slandering of Ron Paul proves you are just as much fearmongering, warmongering, criminal scums as Bush and the neocons. Daily Kos is nothing more than “Neocon-Lite”.

    2. It is documented that Rockefeller and Rothschild agents directly funded Hitler. It is documented that Rockefeller funded both phony political sides, Democrat and Republican alike. The Rockefellers fund both phony sides of the global warming debate. The Rockefellers fund Big Oil and the fake environmental movement. The Rockefellers fund Big Food and the fake “food police” movement.

We see through your blatant lies, Kos(nut)sacks. You are just as much a CIA disinformation propaganda machine as Faux News. You are no better than Bull O’Lielly and Fawn Scammity and the rest of the Faux News fake conservatives. When we take this country back, you will be among the first to be arrested for treason. You know the facade is falling, so now your bosses have to stage terror and you have to ramp up the police state peopaganda.

There really is no difference between a Kossack and a Freeptard. Both are gutter-level scum.

There is but one race - the human race.

We all bleed blood red, and everyone has an appointment with death.

Domination is what it is about. Domination from the word Dominion. Dominion from the word Domain. The earth is our domain. The Earth is the domain of the human race. The human race dominates Earth.

Racism is about one ethnicity of humans dominating another based on their color. But is racism any different than dominating another based on their religion - or lack of it? Or their sexual orientation? Or their political beliefs?

Beliefs can be true or false just as the logic gates on that computer your typing on are either open or closed.

Bush got the American people to believe Saddam Hussein was an IMMINENT THREAT and was getting ready to launch nuclear weapons against the U.S.

And those that believed the liar and war criminal thus bought into the lie, invested in it, nutured it, defended it.

And when would domination be moral and just? For domination is war. War is the means by which domination is usually carried out. Insurrections must be put down, revolutions must be countered, movements must be suppressed, and invasions repelled in order for one to remain dominant.

And in all this process, the dominant race is slowly wiped out - the human race.

When humans dominate humans, humanity loses. War is sometimes necessary and just, for you have a right to war against the thief, the murderer, and the con man. Thus is the Right of Lawful Defense concieved, as you have the Right of Lawful Defense should you be aggrieved of nefarious humans, who wish to dominate you.

Individual Freedom and Independence is the foundation of the United States of America. But the United States of America is neither now Free, nor Independent.

It is neither Free because of the application of Laws upon society that limits their Rights of privacy, property, and the capacity for personal safety. Laws which regulate the citizenry in their locomotion - to the point of denying it. Laws which strip Habeus Corpus in order to protect the criminals who began the Iraq war and the fake “war” on “terror”, that they might torture humans into “confessions” for various acts which the policy creators of torture themselves committed.

They get away with mass murder while torturing others into confessions for the Acts which they, the mass murderers themselves, committed.

But know this: Individual Freedom is the foundation of all human existance, it is what man was meant to be - Free and Independent. And this truth is universal - just and sun shines upon the Just and the Unjust, just as the rain falls upon the Saint and the Sinner.

And there is no candidate running for the Office of the President of the United States of America that will end the tyranny of the Bush/Cheney juanta other than Ron Paul.

Well then Kos and Hufpo can kiss a large part of their readership goodbye I’d say.

These fools have no idea how powerful and determined and unshakable is the support for Ron Paul. They cannot conceive of how fast it is growing either. By their lies you shall know them.

As someone above said, Daily Kos was always “Neo-Con Lite” anyway in its treatment of the truth and certain issues. Just as disingenuous and just as vile in the motive department.

  10. S. Wolf Britain on December 29th, 2007

I know I will probably be lambasted for this, but those 1992 statements of Dr. Paul DO make him a racist, even with the part that Daily Kos left out. Oh, sure, he may have changed since then, but probably not. Most “Americans” ARE racists, so it would hardly be surprising if Ron Paul is too. What is he going to do to alleviate the poverty that causes so many Black Americans to be criminals? Nothing! No, he’s going to make it worse by ending social programs to help the poor! I knew he was too “good” to be true, and this clinches it! He’s a phony “conservative” and/or “libertarian” too, and I’m not surprised! I wouldn’t vote for this evil hypocrite if he was the last candidate on earth! He’s a phony just like most people trying to fit in to the oligarchical system, and he probably is a “ringer” like others have alluded to! “If it appears to be too good to be true, it probably is!

And I notice Ron isn’t giving ANY glory to God either! (Please don’t give me that “separation of church and state” disingenuousness concerning what might be Paul’s rational for not “bringing religion into the campaign”, which only applies to governing once someone is IN office, and/or applicability to the law!) Of course, I suppose I am glad that he isn’t “preaching” in his campaign, because it in and of itself would in all probability be upholding the typical, hypocritical, counterfeit “Christianity”; but, if he was such the righteous candidate, and truly right with God, he would have to give glory to God, wouldn’t he?! No, instead, he’s a racist, self-righteous, lying hypocrite like most “Americans” are, especially like career politicians such as Dr. Paul is and/or are! For very good and obvious reasons, I don’t trust anything so popular and with so much support, ever!

  11. Jessica on December 29th, 2007

I personally found Ron Paul’s comments on African-Americans to be disturbing and it is the one issue on which I disagree with him. I am, however, so strongly sympathetic to him in other ways that I support his candidacy.

Paul takes positions that would, perhaps, benefit African-Americans greatly. By opposing the war on drugs, he would end the cruel and unjust sentencing for non-violent drug offenders that has robbed the black community of sons, husbands, and fathers. By opposing the IRaq war, he opposes a policy that has led to the deaths of thousands of Americans of every race–and who are, in most cases, from economically disadvantaged groups such as rural whites from the South, inner-city blacks, and Hispanic immigrants.

On balance, I prefer the “reactionary” Ron Paul to good liberals like Hilary Clinton who vote to send mostly poor Americans to their deaths or who support cruelly long prison sentences for non-violent crimes.

  12. eurodele on December 29th, 2007

Ron Paul was telling the truth, and that’s really all that counts.

Paul referred to certain official statistics, e.g. crime statistics, and to certain events, namely the L.A. riots, in a perfectly truthful way, drawing only the most obvious conclusions from them. He also said, quite honestly, that it is not irrational for people of any race to be afraid of young black males on the street; indeed, Jesse Jackson said much the same thing.

Insisting that nobody speak these facts amounts to embracing 1984-style information control. No true American would ever be caught doing that. The important thing for a true American is that every person be treated equally under the Constitution, regardless of race, sex, or creed. Even though he is a libertarian-leaning republican, Dr. Paul is well known as a powerful exponent of that principle.

Does telling the truth about such things as current events and public crime statistics, and simultaneously being white and politically involved, constitute “racism”? Clearly not. Racism is based on prejudice, whereas Dr. Paul’s comments on the glaring absurdities of racial politics are based on fact…plain, unadulterated, incontrovertible fact.

If one doesn’t like the facts in question, then the best that one can do is help change them on a factual basis, through causality rather than censorship. Dr. Paul’s many intelligent and well-meaning black supporters understand this, and it is time for the political system to understand it as well. After all, the social-engineering methods which have been tried over the last several decades have been found ineffective.

  13. dean martin on December 29th, 2007

I do not have a problem with those words attributed to Ron Paul, for me Jessica, what’s disturbing is the crime-rate among certain groups, not the acknowledgement of it - and importantly, it’s not an American problem but a worldwide problem wherever these groups are and whether they are minorities or majorities. It’s regrettable but true.

Having said that, these words ARE NOT Ron Paul’s! The most honest man in Congress (I believe that even though McCain agrees with me) says that piece in a newsletter was written by a staffer who’s no longer employed by Dr. Paul. For me - end of argument.
