    It makes me “sick sick sick” that I can’t find something as simple as a toaster on store selves that are no MADE IN CHINA.

    I just received a stainless steel pot and pan 24 piece set for Christmas (MADE IN CHINA). I took it out of the box and noticed a metallic power in the pans. I pored some dish soap and filled them with water and let it sit over night so I could wash them the next day and when I woke up…. the pans where covered in rust. Stainless Steel that rusts? Only from China.

    I Urge all parents to go out and purchase a lead test kit, and test all of your children’s toys. They are very inexpensive and one can find them at any paint store or big retailer. www.prolab.com caries them too. Just don’t buy the ones made in China.

    The corporations that are not regulating the product and getting the cheapest labor, just for the big PROFITS?

    Of course, attempting to buy American made goods isn’t exactly a solution; Saipan, a US-owned island won during WWII is home to multiple sweatshops that makes goods for Polo Ralph-Lauren, GAP, Target, etc. (http://www.globalexchange.org/campaigns/sweatshops/saipan/), can export all products under the label ‘MADE IN U.S.’.

    So the question is: buy (expensive) products made by near-slave-labor, or buy products made by near-slave-labor that are chemically dangerous?

    i find it funny that things from china have always been toxic but no one mentioned it before. there is an effort to fuck with china a little not sure why but its always politics. they give us toxic shit because we have no standards as a nation we only test 1% of our beef. china inspects 100%. i also remember china refusing counter tops from some weird ass country cause it had some kind of poison in it and so a company here in the u.s. bought it and sold it to our people. it never was a problem before in fact our business people encourage it.

    watch the movie The Corporation it says it all about how corporations are legally not allowed to have ethics unless doing so will increase sales. Which opens your eyes to why many companies are jumping on the Eco Green Bandwaggon atleast from a marketing standpoint, i laughed extremely loud when i saw the ad for GE Cleaner Coal for a green future! Oh my god are people buying this, look out the window, yep i guess we are all idiots we bought it and now we are selling it to all our freinds and neighbors like we researched it in a book, with all the Carbon Dioxide Bullshit- dont people even know car emit Carbon Monoxide not Dioxide primarily becuase one of the oxide compounds is split in the combustion process which combines with free hydrogen in the air to produce clean H20 vapor and sometimes deadly NOx in small quantities , research HHO and browns gas we are making significant improvements soon people will be thanking us for their water cars!
