NAU’s North American Leader’s Summit to be Held in New Orleans

President George W. Bush failed to mention the plight of New Orleans in his previous State of the Union addresss and has overseen what some call more than two years of neglect since Hurricane Katrina.

During his address Monday, however, he was applauded for his plans to bring a high-profile summit to the business-hungry town.

Bush announced during the address that he, the Prime Minister of Canada, and the President of Mexico will visit New Orleans in April for the fourth annual North American Leader’s Summit.

Last year’s meeting took place in Quebec, Canada, and drew more than 1,000 labor and environmental activists who did not agree with the policies of North America’s political leaders.

But even Bush’s most vocal critics said the event, and the forums and seminars expected to be organized around its periphery, will be a benefit to New Orleans.

U.S. Sen. Mary Landrieu said the meeting will be a great opportunity to showcase that the Gulf Coast is coming back.

funny how everything they do is a ‘good’ thing, like benefiting New Orleans, when all the while they plan our future.

Time to out Steve Poizner, lifetime CFR member, Bush white house staffer on 9/11/2001, pioneer of GPS technology (SnapTrak, Inc.), pal of insurance elitists, etc.

Poizner, the baby faced Commissioner of Insurance in California, is launching a crack-down on “injured workers” which includes incarceration in solitary confinement for 55 y.o. grand mothers (see Anita Blick in Tracy, California).

Poizner represents the new breed of fatherland CFR darlings that slowly infiltrate state government to cancel rights and benefits for the public in favor of huge insurance companies.

This guy (who spent $14 million dollars of his own money to campaign for a state job that pays $195,000 a year) wants to be Governor of California.

    Beware.

what better place for the globalist to have their next swaray, then where bush abandoned the citizenry of new orleans both in word and deed, look it up-not one of his promises he made before the capitol there has he followed thru with, he is nothing mor than a hot air gasbag-if al the whore gore was doing his job correctly, he would sanction bush and all the other crook/cronies for their hot-gas-bagging rhetoric.

Choosing to have the meeting in New Orleans is symbolic. They no longer need the port city of New Orleans, that’s was made very clear in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. The ports in California and in Louisiana will soon be abandoned for the port cities of Mexico, where goods from China and other countries will be unloaded and then shipped up into the USA and Canada via International Trade Corridors.
By having the SPP Summit in New Orleans and pretending that it’s going to bring business to the area, they are encouraging the people of New Orleans to celebrate their own demise. Dancing on the grave of the Big Easy, I call it. Will they laugh about this as they eat gumbo and enjoy the music and rich culture that will soon be wiped from existence?

The North American Union can be stopped if we keep our gun’s. All of us are going to have to ban together and fight if needed to stop the destruction of America. All true American’s need to buy unregistered firearm’s so the government will not know who has them. Ron Paul is the only other option.

They gave our tax dollars, 70 billion to israel and 7 billion towards katrina(though nobody has any idea where the money is or how to access it) let alone all the extra money sent to new orleans and all katrina victims, add to it the ineptness and inability to respond and the fact that the people in the superdome could have walked out of New orleans except for the natl guard who turned them back on the freeway.. Name one program ever taken over by the govt that came in on budget or on time, or any program that they made better.. also:
    Democrat CFR Candidates:
    Barack Obama
    Hillary Clinton
    John Edwards
    Chris Dodd
    Bill Richardson
    Republican CFR Candidates:
    Mitt Romney
    Rudy Giuliani
    John McCain
    Fred Thompson
    Newt Gingrich
    Any questions?

I was just reading Orwell´s 1984 again after so many years.

I can really recommend the book. Especially the part when Winston is reading the resistance´s manifest - Oceania against Eurasia, the endless war which is never to be won but only to keep the economy down, the propaganda, the deception, the false flag attacks, the doublethink… it´s all there. The book was written in 1949. It seems that the NWO trash is using it as a blueprint. Basically everything in the book is being implemented today.

    NAU = Oceania

And hey, yesterday Financial Times Europe announced that one of the goals of the new SEPA banking standard is to REDUCE CASH MONEY - because cash money supposedly generated “too much cost”. Hey Nimmo, you might be interested in wrting about SEPA?

In Canada we are having a national day of action against the NAU/SPP on Feb.17 ‘08. I am counting on our friends in New Orleans to show these elitists what we think of this plan THEY have for US in April!

    Yahoo News had this:

    http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/200.....orleans_dc

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. President George W. Bush sought on Monday to ease the embarrassment of his administration’s response to Hurricane Katrina by turning the world spotlight again on New Orleans.

To a standing ovation from Congress, the U.S. president said: “Tonight I am pleased to announce that in April we will host this year’s North American Summit of Canada, Mexico, and the United States in the great city of New Orleans.”

Bush said he would invite the leaders of neighboring Canada and Mexico for their regular “Three Amigos Summit” in the city which has been slow to recover from the August 2005 hurricane, the worst natural disaster in U.S. history.

In his annual State of the Union speech, Bush also reaffirmed his pledge to help residents rebuild their homes on the coast of the Gulf of Mexico. Katrina flooded 80 percent of New Orleans and killed about 1,400 people.

New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin and then-Louisiana Gov. Kathleen Blanco criticized Bush for omitting disaster recovery efforts during his 2007 State of the Union speech. Critics said the government was slow to act and burdened by bureaucracy.

The North American leaders’ gathering last year centered on trade issues, beefing up drug enforcement and the thorny issue of immigration.

I would say post Katrina New Orleans represents their desired future for the rest of the country. Look at what the Fed’s can accomplish if they want to. If they wanted NO back on its feet it would have happened already.

Exactly, Mr. Green. For those who share the suspicion that Katrina may have been a CIA experiment with weather weapons (Alex has talked about this), this would seem a logical coup de gras for the Big Easy.

The SPP Summit in New Orleans is where three people will declare war on their own countries…

  16. Becky on February 7th, 2008

I have been reading about the World Trade Organization. Seems to me that every country that joins the WTO financially falls apart then war or civil unrest or both happens.
As I was reading the North American Competitiveness Councils goals I realized that Nafta and the WTO and the NAU were all the same (including the SPP).
My understanding is The World Trade Organization’s laws trump the NAU’s laws which in turn trump the US or Canadians laws. Comments??
As for most the people in the US they don’t have a clue, barely any news about it at all.Our media is very controlled, Bush has signed a law which one company can own all the media in one city. I find out more news by going
into Canadian websites or going into Texas websites.
So I hope New Orleans will wake up to what is going on with the NAU, but I doubt it.

I just wanted to inform everyone that there are going to be mass protests at this summit. So whatever your cause, this is the place to protest. Come join us.
