It’s like something dreamed up by East Germany’s Stasi.

In Florida, Sheriff Sgt. Ken Sonier “watches those who don’t want to be seen,” according to News-Press. Of course, in a healthy, non-brainwashed society most us would not take kindly to being watched, no matter the reason, but in the post-9/11 world far too many of us have bought into the idea we are somehow obliged to surrender our privacy in order to combat the terrorists, never mind we don’t have a good idea who the terrorists are. Fox News now tells us they have blond hair and blue eyes.

Sonier and the Lee County cops are busy installing “custom-made cameras” in fire hydrants, on exit signs in apartment buildings, and metal underneath cars. “Citizens don’t know what we do,” bragged Lee County Sheriff Lt. Gary Desrosiers of the Technical Investigations Unit. “And that’s a good thing.” It was presumably a good thing in East Germany, too, or so the fascist control freaks who once ran that country no doubt believed.

“The annual budget for the TIU is about $10 million, but that includes salaries and maintenance on all the department’s cell phones, laptops and equipment. Most of the equipment purchased is with federal grants.” More specifically, Department of Homeland Security grants.

“In Cape Coral, police accepted a $50,000 grant from the Department of Homeland Security to purchase a Video Detective. It is capable of recording audio, video and stills from blocks away and can clean up images and sound recordings turned in as evidence. Now grainy footage of a bank robbery suspect becomes as clear as a yearbook photo.”

Bank robbery? More likely the technology will be used to monitor average citizens and catch them in the act of minor misdemeanors — littering, parking violations, drinking in public, smoking marijuana on the street corner, etc. It will be used as a revenue generator and a more effective way to get people in the system, herd them into the prison-industrial complex.

But it’s not all Stasi-style covert snooping. It’s also the psychological factor of living in a world based on Orwell’s dystopian novel. “Like security cameras in a bank, some systems are meant to be noticed. The sheriff’s office purchased two alert systems to startle vandals.”

In addition to acclimating folks to living in a militarized police state, such in-your-face systems are put in place to get the great unwashed used to being watched, same way Winston Smith was watched.

“One has flashing lights and the other has a loudspeaker and flashing lights and it takes their picture,” Sonier said. “It’s triggered by motion. A voice comes over the speakers and says something like, ‘Your picture has been taken. Leave the premises now.’ Their faces are like a deer in the headlights.”

In other words, the state will now bark orders at subjects. Middlesbrough and other British cities have similar systems, as do the cops in Baltimore. It’s all about making sure you understand you’re being watched. It’s all part of the control panopticon.

“One side effect of the Iraq war is military tools and tactics — sensors that can track gunfire, retina eye scans - are being even further fine-tuned. Still local law enforcement say some of it isn’t likely to hit the streets of Lee County for another decade, at least.”

Side effect? No, this technology is designed and manufactured with the “civilian” market in mind. And if the stuff is too pricey for cash-strapped middle America police departments, no doubt the Ministry of Homeland Security will come to the rescue with grants and hand-outs.

Our rulers have put the control grid on the fast track, so it will not be a decade or more before we are so inundated with snoop technology there will be no going back.

    As a person who once installed these cameras, its good to point out that these cameras are all FCC Part 15 Devices. “This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the following two conditions: (1) this device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.”

    If a fire starts at a structure near one of these, try and open it to get some water to extinguish it. When you can’t and find out a government law enforcement agency has deceived you into thinking a spy camera is a public fixture for extinguishing fires - sue the county for all the damage done by the fire! It can change our atmosphere with chemtrails, create viruses, bacteria and fungi to kill anyone and anything. It can create reality with holograms, media, and internet. It can alter the past and look into the future with remote viewing and psychic warfare. It can control our moods and emotions with frequency broadcasts, cell towers, microwave and cell phones. It can change our DNA with food additives, GMO and frequency beams. It can control our IQ with a wide variety of methods. It can wipe out entire nations and create earthquakes wherever it wants. It can create and steer hurricanes. It can create droughts or floods and destroy agriculture wherever it wants. It can set off tsunamis and burn holes in the atmosphere. It can create human animal hybrids, clone and ultimately create new life forms. This list could go on and on and on. Face it, the New World Order IS god, and the sooner you realise that, the less disappointed you will be when waiting for a man that lived 2000 years ago and who let these very same people crucify him, never comes to our pathetic rescue.

    What is most telling and disgusting to me is the fact of the cams being hidden. IF you want to deter crime, you don’t want the criminals to find out they are being watched AFTER the mugging or whatever. You want them to know it for a fact so they reconsider breaking the law. It only makes sense to hide the cams if you WANT people to break the law so you can pad collar stats and ticket revenue.

    If the Sheriff’s office wanted to promote safety rather than inflate collar numbers, there’d probably be a patrol car posted at the locations of these cams. Cameras don’t make me feel terribly safe if I am still going to be mugged before the crook is caught.

    Your conception of God is one of your own creation, not the true biblical God. The world was perfect at one time, until MAN brought sin into the world. Creation does “reflect” some attributes of God, but not perfectly, and certainly not the fallen sinful world we live in, since God is Holy. God was very gracious to not just kill us all and send us to hell on the spot when man sinned, but in love He created a way out, salvation through Christ who came with the purpose to die for our sins and suffer God’s wrath for the sins that we commit. Yes, evil governments are becoming more powerful in their aspirations to be like God, but God laughs at them (Psalm 2). They will be destroyed, if not on earth, in hell. God allows evil on earth to accomplish His good purposes, we mean it for evil, but God means it for good. We can’t always understand what his plan is, but you can see how he has worked in history. And by the way, the NWO is not God, not even close. Their power is feeble, they cannot control themselves, they are slaves of sin, slaves to the power they want to have, slaves to all that is unholy. Devil-worshipers are not free. Kevin, you must live in a truly hopeless world, what’s the point of living unless you have a reason to hope, why do anything? Why should you even have a problem with the actions of the NWO if what you say is true, if God is evil, if God does not exist, then you have no grounds to complain about what they do. You might as well join them. Because if what you say is true, actions cannot be either evil or good, they are just actions. If God is evil, then you might as well call evil good.
