Arrested For Reading The Constitution

Peaceful onlookers were arrested by police for reading the Constitution while a pro-war group was allowed full freedom of speech in Washington DC recently in another flagrant example of how American cops are now the enforcers of a tyrannical police state.

Police are required to swear an oath to uphold and defend the Constitution but this didn’t stop them from kidnapping members of the Code Pink group, who gathered on a nearby sidewalk to calmly express their disagreement with a Neo-Con pro-war event taking place nearby by reading the bill of rights.

The pro-occupation group “Vets for Freedom” held a rally at Upper Senate Park, Washington DC, on Saturday September 22nd. Their guest speakers included Neo-Con criminals John McCain, Johny Isakson and Joe Lieberman.

Watch the video.

A common theme of the event was that U.S. troops in Iraq were there to “protect the freedom” of the Iraqi people, but this freedom didn’t seem to apply to the group of American citizens that decided to use their first amendment right of free speech to voice their dissent.

Five members of Code Pink were arrested, one for reading the Constitution, as police refused to say what the charges were and refused to answer any questions while demonstrators were hauled into paddy wagons.

The events echo similar incidents across the pond in Britain, where a woman was questioned by police and entered into the anti-terror database for reading a mainstream newspaper that had an anti-war headline.

In October 2005, another woman was arrested and convicted for reading out names of British soldiers killed in Iraq at central London’s Cenotaph.

Much to the chagrin of Neo-Con trolls who attempted to skew the events seen in the video by claiming the Code Pink group were heckling parents of slain U.S. soldiers, one of the five arrested was an Iraq veteran herself.

“Screw you, anonymous coward. I served my country honorably and proudly - and with my head, not my knees. Dissent is patriotic. If you want to work for a king, go flip burgers,” retorted one individual in response to Neo-Cons who tried to justify the arrests on Internet messageboards.

One thing i noticed is that those officers had the WRONG emblem on their hats.
I beleive they are technically (Out of uniform) since their hats DO NOT
have the (Deaths head emblem) and the (Nazi eagle emblem over that on their hats along with the red arm band.

This would lead me to beleive that they are out of uniform for a purpose.
That purpose being to make us beleive they are Amerikans.

see this is clearly ironic to be arrested for using our rights we are to be protected in doing so.

also alex.. i know this is your new site and all, and that moderating out the neo-con trolls will be beneficial to our cause, it is somewhat ironic that you would censor yourself freedom of speech here on your site. by that very act, though i can see it’s justification-were a revolution and overthrow of our government to happen i would not put you in power. if you can’t objectively manage freedom of speech on an internet website i doubt you should be put in charge of little more.

I mean not to shame alex as he has done, in my opinion, more work for the spread of truth to humanity than most of us combined, but if we really believe in our 1st amendment rights, then is it not objectively right to let these ‘trolls’ express their opinion? I don’t want them flooding these message boards on articles just as much as anyone here reading, but do you think editing their right of expression out is justified or right just because we don’t agree with it or want it? is that not what the neo-con and globalist agenda is doing to us right now?

anyways i will find it interesting whether or not you allow this comment to be posted unaltered. be that you see that my statements have been ‘trollific,’ i would appreciate an email accomodating my concerns.

    thanks my fellow freedom fighter(s)

I see now why you do won’t post anything I say, can’t let truth get in the way of your rhetoric. And you allow George Bush to be compared to Adolf Hitler on your site? You display a basic lack of understanding of the reality of the situation. Make sure you “monitor” (censor) the “trolls”, and don’t let anything they say be read on your site. God forbid we deal with the truth. You are a coward. Unbelievable.
